FOUNDERS NOTE
Praeliscere was founded with the understanding that, regardless of company or team size, time is valuable. I experienced firsthand, whether in a leadership role or preparing an activity or training for my colleagues, how I was always pressed for time. I noticed that many of my colleagues faced the same challenge of there not being enough time to research, brainstorm, and create resources before delivering an assessment, exercise, or training.
The idea for Praeliscere started with a document called Personalized Staff Insights. It was a set of insightful questions that I would ask my staff to learn more about them. At the time, the organization I was with was having difficulty with retainment. Utilizing these insights, allowed all colleagues (management and non-management) to create a more personalized employee experience. The moment we could take down the job postings because we had a strong, engaged, and retained team, made me want to share these insights with others.

Our name, Praeliscere (pronounced preh-lis-sear), is a combination of three Latin words that reflect our philosophy of learning, applying, and leading forward: Discere (to learn), Applicare (to apply), and Praevia (leading the way). Praeliscere embodies our goal of continuous growth, intentional development, and proactive leadership.
Previously operating as Ripple Effect Dynamics, now continuing our mission as Praeliscere.
Founder

With over a decade of experience in human resources and operations, Kathy McClain brings a deep passion for people and purpose to everything she does. As the founder of Praeliscere, she draws on her diverse background to design tools and learning experiences that elevate communication and connection in the workplace. Her passion for people development stems from firsthand experience seeing how it transforms performance at work while also enriching life beyond the workplace.
Kathy holds an MBA from Walsh College, where she was inducted into the Delta Mu Delta International Business Honor Society. Her professional journey spans corporate, nonprofit, and academic settings that includes award-winning work.
